The Location
Collingswood is a beautifully spacious 4 bedroom contemporary single level house (completely modernised 2022) with a large garden & amazing coastal headland views, situated very close to the South West Coast Path between Falmouth & the Helford River, near Maenporth Beach.
It is in a peaceful location but only approx 10-15 mins walk to two beaches, or 2 mins drive to Maenporth beach which has a beachside car park. There is a good pub, cafes & good restaurants also within walking distance. Perfect for a family holiday!
Falmouth is an easy 10 minute drive from the house, which is a lovely town with lots of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, and of course the Maritime Museum. There is also Pendennis Castle. It is also a great base for taking a boat trip up the Fal River, the Helford River, or over to St Mawes and the Roseland.
Maenporth is also a great base for easy reach to many of the popular sights of Cornwall – both Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens are within 5-10 mins drive, The Seal Sanctuary is 20 mins drive, and within an hours drive you can visit St Michaels Mount, the Eden Project, Newquay and Padstow.
(Please note that Collingswood is not in the exact same location as our other 3 properties, but is just across the field!)
